Match report For the second week running we played in what can only be described as "definately not cricket weather" although that can be no excuse for another loss against a team that we should, and are, be able to compete with. With 3 players getting around the 40 mark and not going on to make a decent score probably cost about 30-40 runs which would have made their chase a lot harder for them. Our early bowling was wayward and again we gave away too many "four balls" although an early wicket for naggy should have given us a bit of heart, but with Patchways No 2 and 3 settling down and with some more pretty poor bowling and two dropped catches we lost any chance of getting into their lower order early on. A double bowling change of Lee D and Matty P bought us back some much needed control and 3 wickets that for a while gave us a sniff but another dropped catch effectively gave the game away. Another disapointing performance as a team that desperatley needs to improve in the coming weeks!!!!!
