Match report Well on a wet misty rainy morning big surprise 2 b playing cricket and with both them and us having the 1st team called off it was a pleasure 2 c so many people come and watch us and I fact the 1st people at bitton was preds owen and lil George with a pints in there hands followed by McDonald's !!!!! Back 2 cricket ........ Lost toss and they batted 1st no way would I bat 1st on a damp overcast day but they did so bowlers did what they do best and put the ball in the right areas and with it swinging heaps bitton were struggling 2 score and Lewis early wicket 9/1and ash picking up 2 for not many runs in 10 overs they were 40/2 41/3.... After ash we brought on the puckle expressing in perfect time as he bowled the train was chugging past which helped Dan Hins find his rhythm and took 5 wickets for the 1st time in his career and with it a lovely jug of larger later cheers Dan .... Kane picked up the last wicket with a clean bowled and good bowling all round except nick g bouncer near the end !!! and they ended up 153/10 and r fielding much better and catches held, regan and nicky g outstanding in the field so at tea the home crowd not happy but away support almost singing or was the beer kicking in ??? Over 2 the old opening partnership of Pratten and Barnes been awhile since they opened 2gether and would they make skipper Lee happy.... a typical 1st ball shot and a 4 helped !! And a good start until barnesy got out for 36 caught on the boundary and 68/1 Pratten[34] and nick g[17]kept us going 97/2 then a wobble which left us 105/3 113/4 117/5 which brought the experienced frank 2 the middle just the man we need in a situation but 2day he had a rare failure and we were 119/6 surely we can't lose this and bitton were suddenly making plenty of noise on and off the pitch and felt they had a chance of winning but skipper Lee pissed off 1 bowler in particular and had a friendly chat with him hope u reminded him u ended up 28 no and hit him 4 a straight 6 !! And with Kane hitting a lovely 4 b4 getting out left us 151/7And who came out star bowler Dan Hins and 2 cap a good day hitting the winning runs with a crisp boundary and a good win with maximum points 2 please the away support and keep the home crowd quiet ..... Well done Mr Hins and the team roll on next week same again boys
