Pucklechurch Cricket Club Won By 60 runs

Match report What a beautiful sunny day a rarity for 1st game of season and new skipper josh lost the toss and we batted 1st and the 2 steve,s getting us off to a steady start and with fuss the new “genuine” hittting a couple of lush 6s we accumulated 70/1 then r famous collapse and soon 95/6 but some traditional tennis style shots from the griff and chef helped push us up 134/10 with a mention to Kanye West who felt we had enough runs on the board to get out 1st ball. At tea which was r usual lush teas, new skip felt we needed at least another 100 runs to win the game , show his inexperience there when 30 40 more would of been competitive score to chase...... after t and Barnesy fired up claiming we will win ...... did the bowlers believe they could do the job against a strong batting line up ..... 1st ball oops a 4 ........soon Kanye and genuine getting into their rhythms minus a few leg side balls to make griff work hard!!! Soon found the breakthrough with 2 early wickets and then the wickets kept coming with genuine caught and bowled something special as was Kanye bowling their dangerous linguard. On comes captain josh and despite no early wickets kept the runs down and at the other end old pro chef who was fired up and tore the heart out of winterbourne and steamed in to take 4 wickets then josh got in on the act with 2 wickets thanks to splendid catches from both the Frankcoms good job they went straight at them !!!! Suddenly winterbourne r 74/9 and were in dreamland and only 1 person to finish job the old pro chef to claim superb figures of 5/8 and a excellent win which at tea don’t think we really believed we could do but shows believe and thy will conquer which is going to b my theme this year .. A great stat to the season and cheers captain josh for the cider after
