Match report After winning the toss on a bowler friendly and very wet slow outfield was a good start and the obvious thing 2 do is stick Hanham in and let the bowlers do there magic........ Ash and Rob super start 10 overs 16/1 then 20 overs with dan perks in the attack 46/3 just the start we needed, young Lewis bowled 4 overs with good figures and deserved a wicketand the evergreen chef cooking away we bowled out Hanham for 120 and despite a slow wicket not easy to bat on skipper Barnesy was a happy man until he found our Rovers were about 2 b relagted at tea...... so batting tatics 2.66 runs an over required easy even with a few batsman missing......Luke and skip opened and made batting look ok and with 33 on the board inside 9 overs then a run out and a quick wicket made things a bit edgy.Dan Perks and skip steadied things until the 14th over when skip missed the ball clean bowled and hobbled off with the score now 47/3 Perks and Chef took the score along to 57/3and still skip was hopeful of a good win ......... then 59/10 think best not mention batting but very poor and dissapointing .....
On the positive bowling and fielding was good and skip caught 1 again so if he can u all can and mention ash 13 runs off 12 overs
Lesson of the day bat 45 overs and we would of won enough said bring on downend and take it out on them next week .....
