Match report Out at Frys 4 a home game due 2 revel Lee lost toss and they stuck us in with a bit of cloud cover but Frys norm a good batting pitch .....well could of been a horrendous start Barnesy and fuss dropped behind 2 simple chances could of been 0/2 but fuss making his debut for 2nds this season on fire hitting the ball everywhere for a good 47 shame he cut a ball to a fielder and got out leaving us 84/4.... Frank found form and hit a lovely 6 with fire in his belly and after hitting a good 33 picked out a fielder off their pie chucker 106/5...... Their opening bowlers bowled well but now our mid order could make the most of their lesser bowlers but regain made a start along with Lee but soon departed along with Chef and suddenly we are 120/8 but Kane showing his batting skills hit 23 and pushed us up to a competitive 145/10 ..... Bowlers if they put the ball in the right areas would have fun bowling here but a bad start saw 17 runs off the 1st 2 overs and punished anything loose and put on 69 in no time but introduction of Chef and Cookie changed things and they both struck early on 70/2 and then bowled economically conceding just 44 runs in 20 overs and changed the game then over to Nick G and game over, Nick picking up 5 wickets as our new star bowler and they went 89/3 89/4 90/5 108/ /6 117/7 132/8 132/9 138/ 10 and we win by a handful of runs check out the bowling figures, good win boys bring on another next week.
