It’s 6 weeks since my last mail so I thought it would be worth sharing the latest
messages regarding the prospects of cricket this season.
The professional game will not start until at least 1st July and it seems that the
recreational game (us) will not be any earlier. Following Boris’ announcement
last weekend, there has been a minor change to the rules about outdoor training
but it is not something that we can consider with our set-up.
I’m still receiving regular emails from the ECB, the GCB and the B&D and I would
encourage anyone that’s interested to check out their web-sites.
As I said in April, the priority is for you and your family to stay safe and healthy and,
hopefully, we will get through this as soon as possible.
